The Opportunity

SportAI is seeking a Chief Product Officer to lead product execution and guide the company from a technically strong early stage into a scalable business.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role. While long-term product vision and strategy matter, the immediate need is for a product leader who thrives in execution: someone who can drive day-to-day product decisions, work closely with engineering, and turn SportAI’s advanced AI and computer vision capabilities into user-ready, commercially impactful solutions.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will own the backbone of SportAI’s product direction, from product strategy and prioritisation to roadmap execution and delivery.

This is a rare opportunity to work on real-time computer vision and machine learning systems at scale, shaping the product layer of one of the most advanced AI platforms in sports technology.

Role & Responsibilities

Product Leadership

• Lead day-to-day product execution, making clear, pragmatic decisions based on customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial priorities
• Translate user insights, data, and market signals into scalable, differentiated product solutions
• Establish clear frameworks for product strategy, prioritisation, and lifecycle management

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with the CEO, CTO, and Head of Commercial to ensure alignment across product, engineering, and go-to-market
• Translate SportAI’s core AI and computer vision capabilities into concrete features and product experiences
• Work directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders to validate solutions and inform priorities
• Own and evolve a dynamic product roadmap that balances speed, learning, and long-term direction

Team & Culture Building

• Build and lead a small, high-performing product organisation as the company scales
• Mentor and develop product talent, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration
• Set ambitious standards and cultivate a performance-driven, execution-oriented product culture

Market & Ecosystem Understanding

• Build deep insight into the sports technology landscape and emerging trends
• Identify ecosystem opportunities and partnerships that accelerate adoption and differentiation
• Translate market understanding into practical, near-term product decisions that support long-term positioning

Execution & Delivery

• Establish and track key product metrics for adoption, engagement, and success
• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of new features and platform improvements
• Balance long-term innovation with short-term customer and commercial needs

Experience & Background

• Proven experience as CPO, VP Product, or similar senior product leader in a B2C SaaS environment
• Track record of building and scaling products from early-stage to commercial success
• Strong technical understanding of AI-driven or data-intensive products, ideally within computer vision, ML, or performance analytics
• Ability to define strategy while remaining deeply involved in hands-on product execution
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align technical and commercial teams
• International experience and understanding of global product-market dynamics
• Passion for sports, technology, and user experience
