About the position
As a Machine Learning Engineer at SportAI, you'll develop and implement models to analyze human motion in video, directly impacting the sports industry. You’ll be part of a dynamic environment where your skills will be used to solve complex computer vision challenges, advance sports technique analysis, and create revolutionary products with real-world applications.
Some of your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and domain experts to design and implement new AI features
- Solve complex computer vision problems to enhance our sports analysis capabilities
- Develop and maintain machine learning models specifically tailored for sports technique analysis
- Work closely with the product team to define and prioritize new features
- Contribute to our AI roadmap and stay updated on the latest in machine learning and computer vision

Key Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Master’s or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX.
It will also be considered a bonus if you have experience in Camera Calibration, Object Tracking, or Motion Analytics, and a background in Sports Analytics, MLOps, DevOps, or AWS.
