SportAI and Scala Sports enter strategic partnership

Written by Jørgen Pedersen | 15.10.2026

Oslo, Norway & Amsterdam, The Netherlands   - 15 October 2026:

SportAI, the AI video analysis platform for racket sports, today announced a strategic partnership with Scala Sports, the leading technology platform powering participation for racket sports federations including the USTA and LTA. Scala’s technology is used by more than 200,000 players worldwide to join flex leagues, ladders and events, and to connect with players, coaches and courts. Under the agreement, Scala will make SportAI’s coaching and match-analysis products, as well as its court-camera solutions, available across its platform and partner ecosystem.

Scala users will be able to discover SportAI right where they already enter leagues and find coaches and clubs.

With SportAI, they can:

  • Get instant AI-powered analysis of their technique and performance

  • Connect with coaches and build personalised training plans

  • Bring court camera solutions to their local clubs

The partnership covers both Scala’s and SportAI’s core products:

  • SportAI Technique Analysis: personal technique and training analysis for players and coaches
  • SportAI Match Analysis: match analysis and performance insights for players through their local clubs and academies
  • Player, League & Event Growth: A combined offering that helps players find the right opponents, leagues and events, play more often, and continue developing their game, while helping clubs and federations increase participation and court utilisation.

"Until now, the kind of video analysis tour players rely on has been out of reach for most club players and coaches," said Lauren Pedersen, Co-Founder of SportAI. "Scala already reaches players every day in the apps they use to find courts, coaches, and leagues. This partnership puts SportAI in that same place, so any player can see exactly what's working in their game and what to work on next."

"At Scala, we're always looking for new ways to give more value to the players, coaches, clubs and federations on our platform," said Leon Haverkamp, Co-founder of Scala Sports. "SportAI is a great fit. It makes advanced video analysis accessible to players at every level, and it fits naturally into how our community already plays, trains and competes. We're excited to bring it to our users and see the difference it makes to their game."

The partnership is designed to be a win-win effort for players, clubs, academies and federations, bringing multiple high-quality services and experiences to racket sports from one source.
